Currently {February}

Currently Linky's with Farley from Oh Boy It's Farley is my favorite, and so is February.

Listening: I am listening to the Louisville basketball game, and if you know anything about Kentucky, you know you either bleed blue or red. Well I for one bleed blue. My entire family bleeds blue, except my younger brother. He is a Louisville fan and nobody knows why.

Loving: This week in Kentucky it has been beautiful. The sun has been out, the snow has all melted and the weather has been warm. I think I can get used to this!

Thinking: I'm thinking that at 9:05 p.m. I could go to bed right now. My mom has been in the hospital and my routines have been all changed around, which has worn me out. Does anyone else get worn out if their schedule is changed?

Wanting: I am wanting some Ice Cream, this warm weather has put it on my mind.

Needing: I need to grade papers. My mom has been in and out of the hospital recently, which means lots of subs for me and lots of ungraded papers. Midterms go home Thursday, so I'd better get my butt in gear.

Swooning: Did I mention that I was wanting some ice cream? It might be because I recently found out that Graeter's Ice Cream can be bought in Kroger. Black Raspberry Chip, is calling my name.

What are you up to?

Currently December

Every new month I cannot believe that it is a new month. There are only 100 days left in this school year, it has really flown by!

I am currently listening to one of the old school Christmas movies on ABC Family. My favorite, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, comes on at 9:00. You can check out the ABC Family 25 days of Christmas schedule here. What is your favorite Christmas movie?

I am loving the last day of the TPT Cyber Smile Sale. I bought some awesome new Christmas resources. This year our math curriculum map changed so I was in need of some math centers for our new subject area this year. One of the resources that I'm looking forward to using the most is Christmas Coordinate Graphing Ordered Pairs that I purchased from Kristine Nannini. This will be great practice for my kiddos before we do some problem solving with the ordered pairs.

I am thinking that I really need to get a move on my Christmas shopping. Every year it just sneaks up on me. I think I'm doing really good at planning, but I'm always rushing out for a few last minute items.

I am wanting my dinner to be ready! Its been rainy here in Kentucky and soup was the food that I was really wanting. Right now I'm just waiting for my potato soup to be finished. The easy crock pot recipe from Pinterest is on of my quick favorites.

I'm needing to get a move on grading some papers, but I really don't feel like it tonight. I'd rather just sit on the couch curled up watching Christmas movies with my dog.

My Christmas tree is fake. When I was a kid my parents would sometimes get a real tree, but not very often.

November Currently

Another month has come and gone and it just doesn't seem right that its already November! As always I am linking up with Farley from Oh Boy Fourth Grade for the November Currently. This link will always be one of my all time favorites! I just love to read what you are up to!

Since Ruger is my fur baby and an only granddog on both sides of the family, he was spoiled on Halloween and got a ton of new toys and treats. Right now he is laying on the floor beside me chewing on his newest and most favorite squeaky toy.

I am loving that I have a 4 day weekend and it is making this Sunday very enjoyable. The long weekend is well deserved since I survived a week of field trips, Halloween and pizza parties, oh yeah plus that pesky full moon.

With Halloween over I feel like Christmas is in full swing, don't get me wrong I love Christmas just a much as anyone but I feel that Thanksgiving is important too. There are so many things that I am thankful for and I just feel like Christmas must wait until after Thanksgiving is over.

Why does 1 hour make such a huge difference?! Its 8:00 here in Kentucky and I feel like it is midnight. Even though I don't have to work tomorrow I still feel like I should be in bed by now. This has been the never ending day.

Sundays are one of my favorite nights of the week for one reason only, The Walking Dead. Last week there was a HUGE cliffhanger and this one hour time change is making me feel like 9:00 will never get here!

I. Love. Fall. and with that being said, potato soup is one of the things I love about fall the most. You just can't cook soup if its 90 degrees outside so fall weather means soup weather. My husband doesn't really like potato soup so I have to make it when I know there will be more people here to eat it even though it is one of my favorites. I have really been enjoying the crockpot potato soup recipe off of pinterest!

I can't wait to read what you've been up to so far in November and read about your yummy foods!

Just as a reminder, if you leave feedback on any purchased product from my TPT store between today and November 3, 2015 you will receive a freebie of my newest Thanksgiving product! Be sure to check this deal out.

October Currently

It's my favorite month and my favorite linky! I love to link up with Farley from Oh Boy 4th Grade to read about what everyone else is up to! Even though I'm four days late I still couldn't resist linking up  for this October currently.

My sweet dog, Ruger, has been playing outside all day at my mom's house with the other dogs. Let me say he is worn out laying on the couch beside me snoring away.

This is a great Sunday night for me since I am on Fall Break all next week. The weather here in Kentucky is starting to cool down and I'm looking forward to spending some time with my mom and getting my house ready for Halloween.

October is my favorite month because of Fall Break the cool weather, Halloween and the color of the leaves. I'm not sure why, but Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and October just makes me happy.

Potato soup is my favorite soup ever and since its officially fall
I am really needing some potato soup in my life.

I need to finish up some laundry, but isn't that what Fall Break is for? I'd rather spend some time cuddled up with my dog and husband on the couch watching football instead. The laundry will be there tomorrow.

Painting my nails always makes me feel more beautiful and put together. Last night I put one of my favorite colors, Pat on the Black.

I can't wait to see what everyone else is up to on the start of October.

September Currently

Hello September! I'm linking  up today with Farley from Oh Boy Fourth Grade for September Currently. I am so excited for September, some of my close friends are getting married, I'm going to Gatlinburg, TN for a mini-vacation and on the 27th I will be married one year!! It's a very busy month for me!

I am currently listening to my Americas Got Talent on the T.V. in the living room. It's not my favorite show but my husband likes it so I watch it with him from time to time. There is a pretty cool mindreader on there right now!

I am LOVING Donors Choose. How many of you have used this before? Let me say, when I first heard about it I was quite the skeptic, but I went for it and got my first project for a iPad Mini funded before school was out last year. They have this summer break rule where they won't send anything if you have less than 20 days in the school year, which was my case last year. So about a week after school started this year we got our iPad, which we LOVE. Immediately I had to go back for more and I've gotten two Chromebooks funded since school started on August 5th. If you haven't tried this, you MUST give it a go.

Even though we've been in school almost a full month, I am still teacher tired. Getting back into the routine of things has really kicked my butt! Hopefully this three day weekend coming up and my mini-vaction will help me get rested!

I. Love. Fall. I love EVERYTHING about fall, hoodies, cooler weather, chili, football and pumpkin everything. Even though it still 90 degrees here in Kentucky I am ready for everything fall and pumpkin. Bring on the pumpkin cookies, scones, lattes, cakes and whatever else can be pumpkin.

I need it to be Saturday. Not only because this is a three day weekend for me because of Labor Day, but because I am getting a haircut and I cannot remember the last time I got this mop cut. Its in need of some serious trimming!

Finally, three goals. My final grad class started Monday and it seems to be a busy one so I want to stay on top of this class. The hardest part for me is keeping track of my clinical hours and making sure that I am recording those, so my goal is to stay on top of getting those on paper! Sometimes it is so hard to stay positive while teaching, going to school and dealing with the daily crazy of every day so this year I want to stay positive! Finally, with everything I've got going on, just like everyone else, I want to slow down and appreciate the better things in life.

What have you been up to? I can't wait to hear.

August Curently

I cannot explain how excited I am to link up for August Currently, even though I am three days late. Before I started my blog, this was my FAVORITE link up to read!

My husband is in the living room watching T.V. with our dog while I am working away in the office. If I can hear currently, I think he is watching Reba the T.V. show. I don't have anything on the tube tonight, but Wednesday I will be all about Big Brother.
I am LOVING the TPT back to school sale, even though I can't believe it is time to start back to school. There are so many wonderful things that I am eyeballing in the sale! Head on over to my TPT store to check it out, everything is 28% off! Don't forget to leave feedback of all of the purchases, TPT credits are FREE money.
I am thinking that I need to get some of my grad school work done, but it can wait until tomorrow. Online classes are amazing in many ways but sometimes it is so hard to stay motivated! I can't believe that in October I will be a Literacy Specialists!
In Kentucky the weather has been wonderful the past few days. This is making me want another week, or two, of summer. The pool will still be calling my name on Wednesday when school starts!
I am needing sleep. Today was opening day for my district which meant a early wake  up call, not exactly what I wanted. Tomorrow we actually have the day off before school begins on Wednesday. It's going take some time to get back into the grove of things.
Finally, my B2S RAK. I am thinking that I will get my teacher friends some chocolate goodies for Wednesday. We all know what a long, hard day the first day back is and I know some chlorate will be a great pick me up!
